At 250 signatures it’s printed, with the count by town, and handed to County Judge Larry Cowling and the Little River County Quorum Court (9 justices of the peace) at a public meeting.
Some county tax money goes to outside organizations — economic development corporations, nonprofits, districts — and once it leaves, the county's bidding and public-records rules may not follow it. We ask Little River County to post, for every dollar passed through: who received it, how much, what for, and what was promised in return. Public money should stay traceable all the way to the last receipt.

This is a petition to your elected officials — like the clipboard at the courthouse door. It does not put anything on the ballot; in Arkansas and most states that takes ink signatures from registered voters. Signatures are counted, not verified — one per browser; the delivered copy removes duplicates. Like everything here, petitions can’t campaign for candidates or ballot measures, or name county staff.
